I want to sell on Poshmark but don’t want to purchase boxes for shipping.
This is a common concern I hear from people considering selling on Poshmark.They want to sell their items, and make more money, but was worried about buying packaging.
Luckily, USPS provides free shipping supplies.
USPS offers their priority packages in many different shapes and sizes for your packaging needs. I recommend ordering on USPS’s online store because they storefronts will typically only give you a few boxes and are often completely out.
Ordering shipping supplies from USPS online allows you to order in bulk. Supplies typically arrive within five business days. Shipping can take longer during holiday seasons.
Once you head to the USPS website you’ll need to make an account, then follow the steps below:
1. Click on Supplies
2. Go ahead and use filters to left side and check the Priority Mail Box under the Product Type.
3. Scroll through and click on products picture to get to the page to pick you quantity.
4. Then add to Cart. Once you have all your desired supplies hit the check out Now rectangle BOX
One crucial thing you need to keep in mind is that Poshmark uses Priority Mail for the prepaid labels. You can use regular brown boxes you have at home if need be, but do not use any other USPS boxes other than Priority.
If you try using USPS boxes that are not priority, the Post Office will not accept, and your mailman will not pick up.

FYI: Mercari does not accept USPS priority packaging. You will have to purchase regular brown boxes if you sell on this app.
