When deciding what resell site to use there is a lot to consider. Listing, shipping, and ability to make money are important factors, but so is the overall ease and convenience of the site or app. Of course, you can always try both. Which we did! However, our experience with one was leagues above the other when it came to the important factors mentioned previously.

Bidding (eBay) VS. Counteroffer (Poshmark)
Poshmark
The golden feature of Poshmark is the Counteroffer. Buyers have the ability to counter one of your items with a lower price. This is where you can negotiate and make more sells. Some people will try to low-ball you, but the beauty of this feature is that you can simply say yes or no.
eBay
The bidding feature allows the buyer to auction off an item. However, if only a few or even one person participates in the bid, you could end up selling an item for a lot less than expected. As a seller, when going to list an item, eBay will provide a recommended price to start the bid at. In our experience, this price has always been way too low to make the listing, sell, and shipping worth it.
Overall
Poshmark has created a process that is easy, convenient, and consistent. Being spoiled with Poshmark’s smooth functions probably contributed to our frustrations we felt trying to sell on eBay.
Next weeks resell showdown…. Poshmark vs. Mercari!
