Closet clear out days are the best time to lower you items and make more sales. All you have to do is lower your items by 10%. Don’t be worried about getting less money for your item, because on Closet Clear Out days, Poshmark will pay for your shipping. Having your shipping paid for makes up for the 10% price reduction.
Closet Clear Out days are random, but they usually host two a week. I recommend waiting to drop the price of your items until these days to take advantage of the free shipping.
How it works
If you are subscribed to Poshmark’s emails (which you should be to know when this and other similar deal days are happening) you’ll get an email on the day it’s happening. Inside your Poshmark app, in your notifications, there will be an alert that this event is happening.
For the Seller
If you are a seller these are the instructions directly from Poshmark’s FAQ page:
1. Select Offer / Price Drop on your listing
2. Select Edit Listing Price (public)
3. Drop your price by at least 10%
For the Buyer
You’ll receive a notification of the price drop. Poshmark will even give you discounted shipping. Act fast because this discounted shipping is only available for six hours. The item must be at least $10 for this deal to qualify.

For both the buyer and the seller, offers made separately through the ‘make an offer’ button do not count towards the Closet Clear Out deal.
Once again, I recommend waiting for the Closet Clear Out days to lower your prices. Poshmark paying the shipping makes this a great deal. This is where I make tons of sales.
